KEL-DPZ multi-membrane cable entry plates, round, with metric threads M25 – M63 / IP66 / IP68 / UL Type 12/4X*

KEL-DPZ round cable entry plates are designed to route and seal cables without connectors or fibre optics (from 1.5 mm to 22 mm in diameter) in limited space.

The assembly of the KEL-DPZ round with cables or pneumatic hoses can be done quick and easy. Simply make a small hole in the thin membrane, push the cables through. The KEL-DPZ round provides strain relief and protection IP66 / IP68 / UL Type 4X*.

The round versions of the KEL-DPZ series have a thread to fit in metric cut-outs from M25 to M63. Thus cut-outs for metric cable glands can be used.

ST-B Plugs can be used for sealing pierced membranes if cables have been removed.

KEL-DPZ cable entry plates are designed to route and seal a large number cables without connectors, hoses or fibre optics (from 1.5 mm to 22 mm in diameter) in limited space.

The KEL-DPZ products are a cost and time saving alternative to traditional cable glands.

The assembly of the KEL-DPZ with cables or pneumatic hoses can be done quick and easy. Simply make a small hole in the thin membrane, push the cables through. The KEL-DPZ provides strain relief and protection up to IP66 / UL type 12.

The KEL-DPZ matches exactly the cut-out dimensions of 6-, 10-, 16- and 24-pin standard industrial connectors. The size KEL-DPZ-B fits on cut-outs 46 × 46 mm. The very compact size KEL-DPZ-E is designed for routing cables in very small space. Through a cut-out of only 18 × 112 mm, up to 21 cables can be easily routed and sealed.

Especially for Rittal KL / KX terminal boxes the size KEL-DPZ-KX/KL was created. It was designed for routing up to 72 cables through the pre-cut standard cut-out. The self-tapping screws required for assembly are included in the scope of delivery.

KEL-DPU multi-membrane cable entry plates with high strain relief function, pluggable / IP66 / IP68 / UL Type 12/4X*

KEL-DPU entry plates are designed to route and seal cables without connectors (from 3.2 mm to 20.5 mm in diameter) in limited space with IP66 / IP68 / UL type 12 & 4X* ratings. The gland KEL-DPU is especially characterised by its very robust hard frame made of polypropylene which is completely moulded with elastomer. This results in a high ingress protection and stability as well as in a high strain relief level of the routed cables.

The KEL-DPU 24 matches exactly the cut-out dimensions of 24-pin standard industrial connectors. For optional screw assembly just pierce the membranes on the integrated screw holes with the screw itself. The grey KEL-DPU 24 is also available with threaded bushings. When plugging or screw fixing the KEL-DPU from the inside of the enclosure the screw holes remain completely sealed by the elastomer layer.
