With the increasing need for larger enclosures in machine and system engineering, the renewable energy sector, especially solar and wind power, and the need for durable and spacious enclosures to house and protect their electronic components, MULTI-BOX GmbH has produced the new MBI-L enclosures, where “L” stands for “Large”, and they meet all the requirements:

Efficient production and first-class quality

MULTI-BOX enclosures are entirely produced at factory in Kirchlengern, Germany. From material purchasing to injection molding and final assembly, every process is carried out under one roof. This enables to ensure efficient production in excellent quality and guarantee our customers reliable delivery times.

Suitable accessories for functional upgrades

To adapt the functionality of the new MBI-L enclosures to your needs, MULTI-BOX GmbH offers an interesting range of accessories.

LEVEL ADAPTER MBI-L

These adapters made of glass fibre-reinforced polycarbonate allow flexible installation of components at different levels in the enclosure base using a mounting plate. They are also excellent for installing front panels. The fastening element can be inserted at any height of the adapter bar to ensure a perfect position.

EXTERNAL HINGES MBI-L

These durable hinges have been specially developed for the new MBI-L enclosures and allow quick and safe access for maintenance work and inspections. Thanks to the hinges, the enclosure cover is securely attached to the base and cannot be lost.

Like the enclosures, MBI-L hinges are made of glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate. The material is UV-stable, absolutely corrosion-resistant and self-extinguishing. The enclosure’s protection class (IP66) is maintained with mounted hinges.
