Integrated signaling solution – now also with segmented lighting function

With the introduction of the first modular signal tower KombiSIGN, WERMA Signaltechnik set a technological milestone and defined a new standard for industrial signaling. The family-owned company is now consistently continuing this innovative strength: Following the development of LineLIGHT Fusion – the first fully integrable signaling solution – the next evolutionary stage is now here: LineLIGHT Fusion Segment.

This new variant makes it possible to divide the light pattern into several segments and display machine statuses even more precisely, individually, and intuitively. For example, two states can be signaled simultaneously, indicating an even more specific need for action. In addition, an automatic scaling function is available, allowing process steps or progress to be clearly displayed. WERMA is once again setting standards for modern machine design and intelligent signaling solutions.

Function and design perfectly combined

The LineLIGHT Fusion series integrates the display of machine statuses directly into the machine surface – ideal for machine and plant manufacturers who value a consistent, modern design. The flush-mounted, smooth surface of the light module blends seamless-ly into the machine housing and creates a clear, functional appearance. This makes the signaling an aesthetic part of the machine itself – without any distracting superstructures or compromises in functionality. The LineLIGHT Fusion even won the prestigious iF Design Award 2025 for this feature.

In addition, LineLIGHT Fusion meets the highest hygiene and protection requirements: the seamless design prevents dirt edges and reliably prevents the ingress of dust or liquids – ideal for sensitive production en-vironments.

Now new: segmented light display for maximum flexibility

With LineLIGHT Fusion Segment, WERMA is adding a new dimension to the range of applications for its integrated signaling solution. The light is now also available with a segmented light display – for even more precise and customized representation of machine statuses.

• 200 mm version: Choice of continuous light image or division into two 100 mm light segments.

• From 300 mm length: Up to three light segments possible – one continuous light, two or three segments, each individually color-controllable.

This creates clearly defined segments within the light image without the need for additional modules or physical separations. The entire light remains active at all times, but the individual segments light up in different colors at the same time – for example, to simultaneously signal process status, warnings, or approvals. 

The LineLIGHT Fusion Segment thus enables a particularly intuitive and flexible status display that can be precisely adapted to customer-specific requirements.

This new segment function offers numerous advantages for machine and plant manufacturers:

• Precise process representation: Different segments signal clearly defined machine states or process phases – such as “Operation” and “Material required.”
  
• Maximum flexibility: Freely configurable light patterns without additional hardware or structural modifications.

• Modern design: Homogeneous, flush-mounted display without visual interruptions – ideal for a consistent machine appearance.

The LineLIGHT Fusion Segment thus combines functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency at the highest level – perfect for machines and systems, automation and assembly lines, conveyor and transport systems, driverless transport systems (AGVs), and all industrial applications with metal or sheet metal housings.

Homogeneous illumination and easy integration

The homogeneous illumination ensures clear, uniform display and guarantees excellent visibility even from a distance. A loud buzzer can be integrated as an option to provide additional acoustic warning of important machine statuses.

Various mounting options are available: The modules can be screwed in place with variably adjustable clips or attached with high-quality industrial adhesive tape. Thanks to sliding adapters, flexible positioning is possible at any time.

LineLIGHT Fusion meets the requirements of protection class IP54. Thanks to the special sealing concept, the light protects the interior of the ma-chine from dust and water ingress even with protection class IP65 when installed. 

With the new LineLIGHT Fusion Segment, WERMA once again underscores its innovative strength in industrial signaling. The combination of clear design, high flexibility, and technical precision makes the product series a forward-looking solution for modern machine and plant design.
